Hi there. I love what you have done in creating an HTML5 ready theme that is both responsive and uses SASS/Compass with a compiler. And I really appreciate that it isn't bloated by extra features. But I'm new to using Compass with Drupal, and SASS in general, and a little documentation on using Sasson with Blueprint would go a long way towards helping me understand it.
This is my issue: How do I override the default 960gs grid with Blueprint to present a static site? And can this change to Blueprint be continued in sub-subthemes?
Secondarily, how do I override the default 960gs grid to create a responsive subtheme with Blueprint?
I would be happy to document my own trial and error path and submit it for review, if you would like.

erutan commentedI'm fairly new to the theme myself, but I'll take a stab.
1) add
@import blueprint/gridin your subthemes sass/scss file (based on how 960 works, guessing). not sure what you mean about it being a 'static' site though.2) in the core theme you have the scss files called at different window sizes (specified in .info / in site settings) located at /styles/layout/. Perhaps not the cleanest subthemiest happy solution in the world, but you can edit those.

tsi commentedPlease don't hack the base theme, copy the files to your sub-theme and edit them there, as long as they have the same name, Sasson should find them and use them.
You could override the files in /styles/layout/ and use the same method of file importing as the base theme (one file per media queries) or you can override sasson.scss and call whatever you want, the way you want.
About importing blueprint,
@import blueprint/gridwill import the grid only, you can also use@import blueprintto import the whole framework (typography, colors etc.)Most of the docs at http://compass-style.org/reference/blueprint/ should be valid (you don't need to install it, obviously).

erutan commentedGiven I'm still learning the theme I wasn't sure how everything was related and went for the path of least complication. Your way is definitely better. :)
