Problem when user´s enter or change password

Hi, I think that the module is caousing me a problem. When a user registers, from the email which is sent they can log in normally, but when they later try to enter their password and enter, the sites tell them that they have entered a wrong password. They recover, but the problem insists...Could it be that the module is causing the problem?? If I unistall the module, will it remove the hash from the passwords? What can I do to sole the problem?!
The password it's auto generated and they can later enter what they choose.
