Runlight is open source web analytics that runs in your own app or on your own server and keeps every number in your own database. It counts visitors, pages, sources, places, devices, campaigns, and conversions without cookies, so there is no cookie banner to add.
This module connects a Drupal site to your Runlight. It adds Runlight's script to every page and marks 404 pages so broken links show up. It can leave out administrators' own visits. It also reports AI agents such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity when they fetch your pages, which no script can see because they run no JavaScript. The module tells Runlight from the server, ahead of the page cache, so cached pages count too.
Requirements
A Runlight to send to, either an app with Runlight mounted or the standalone server. The numbers live there, so the module adds no tables to Drupal.
Installation
Install it with composer require drupal/runlight, enable it, and enter your Runlight's address under Configuration, System, Runlight. The Drupal guide has the details.
