Hi rules forms maintainers -

This might be a silly question, but I've noticed that on the rules forms configuration (when editing an active rule), none of my fields that are of type 'text' appear in the data selection list. I see all other fields, but none for the text fields I have assigned to content types. Is this by design? Or is there something else at play?

Essentially, what I'm trying to do is capture the value of a text field and perform a few internal tasks with it.

Please let me know if you need any more information.

What are 'my fields', your custom fields? Some of the field types are hardcoded in includes/rules_forms.ui.inc if I understand your issue correctly. Try also dev version, as it could not work in rc2.

- Are these custom field types?
- What is the widget that you are using?
- Which condition are you trying to use?
