Hi,

i am working actually in having a rules event that tracks files downloads : 'A file is being downloaded', 'The downloaded file' and 'The downloading user'.

My question is : would you be interested in adding this feature in 'rules_download' module (i can provide a patch) or shall i just create another module for this ?

It's really not the purpose of this module, this just allows to "download" a file from rules, it has nothing to do with drupal file downloads.

Feel free to submit a new module.
