Is it possible to use rules to create a condition which looks for certain keywods in a node or comment which is about to be published? (to filter for a custom set of bad words for example)

I know it's possible with action/triggers but I wonder if I can also use rules for this. Can't seem to find it (or any documentation).

There is no such condition yet, but of course you can write one. See the developers docs for how to do that. However the core provided actions having this feature can be used too.

Would be a useful feature. I have done some coding around nodes, but comments are a bit of a different ballgame.

Seems like this is easy with the Text Comparison condition using a regular expression on the node:body:value variable.
