Hi,
I am using flag friend and thought if we can add a new rule that flags/request to befriend a user on account creation? The initiator will be the superuser. Thanks!

amitaibuWith the new Flag module integration, you can already achieve it - as it seems Flag friend is using Flag's API. You should use Rules-DEV release to test it.

fagoBut I think you have to check yourself if both friends agree to the connection. Perhaps it would make sense to add a further event to flag friend.

dropchew commentedHmm I can't seem to create a rule that do this. Using the current flag API.
1) I don't think there's a rule option that can specifically assign who to flag? (I can see acting user, registered user)
I agree with fago that we need a further event for flag friend. Maybe this will be a feature that can consider? Thanks

"acting user, registered user" ist the user to flag, isn't it?

dropchew commentedHi fago,
initially, I tried with the confi
Flagged User: Registered User
User on whose behalf to flag: Acting User
and nothing happens after a visitor created an account..., after that I tried
Flagged User: Registered User
User on whose behalf to flag: Registered User
and the Registered User befriends himself, which is obviously wrong (I don't want him to think he's a loner lol) Just a while, I just figured we have to create a action "load a user account" and combine with the flag rule.
Flagged User: Registered User
User on whose behalf to flag: Loaded User
Its works! (Just that I can't send a message to the new user like in flag friend)
Its just that I am wondering whether will I expose any superuser's permission if I load as user 1? Thanks

You don't.

dropchew commentedThanks for the advise.

jrivelli commentedI did the load user account, but there are not two options like these:
Flagged User: Registered User
User on whose behalf to flag: Loaded User
Do I need to 'compare two users' in a condition?
