Hi,
I've been using rules for a while now with great success however I've run into a problem today. I have several rules which trigger on different flag events for a node type. The rules generally change a field on the flagged node which in turn changes the URL of the node which allows me to control the display blocks. I have two of these rules already in place however when attempting to add a third the field simply does not populate. I've cloned one of the earlier rules to ensure consistency and all the settings appear to be correct - anyone else also experiencing this weirdness?

Cheers,
Reg.

I've done some digging around on this. Whilst the first two flag links were displayed on the node page by the flags module, the third flag link was placed into a block by views using relationships. This displays the flag link OK, the flag link functions correctly (when in 'Normal mode' anyway), and the flag link triggers a rule too. However whilst some of the actions of the rule are carried out (display system message) the action to populate the field is not.

I've tried adding the flag link into a block using the method described here http://drupal.org/node/554548 but so far not had any luck. The only way I am able to sequentially display different flag links on the 'same' piece of content is by creating multiple content types and then using rules to copy the data over from each.

Drupal 6 is not supported any more. If this is still an issue in one of the current versions of Drupal and Rules then please open a new issue with details about how to reproduce the problem, including an export of your Rule that fails. Please simplify the Rule first so that it is easier to replicate your situation.
