Try to update "Entity API" to the last dev release. Class 'EntityDefaultI18nStringController' is defined into the new file 'entity.i18n.inc' included in the dev version of Entity API but not in 7.x-1.0-rc1.

that's on the agenda once i18n 1.5 is out - for now you'll have to go with the dev version as noted in the release notes.

Hi,

this error happened to me so i'm going to update "Entity API" to the last dev release.

But here's the problem, when i try to do that the normal way, it says that entity api is already installed. It's impossible to unnistall it since entity reference is using fields.

How do i update it then?

Hello all, I've just gotten this error:

As well, and it's rendered the entire site unusable. Nothing works anymore. I can't update nor can I uninstall or disable. What can I do? Here's the link to the site http://test.dinarcorp.com

I was getting the exact same error. I added the newer entitiy api module manually through by FTP and it seems to working fine so far, I had the same thing as #7 at first, whole site not working. Taking the the i18 module out by FTP is what helped me access my user interface.

#8 is only valid on a monolingual installation (with the primary language also being the default AND the installation language.)

still not good practice though.

changed my mind. number 8 is absolutely categorically wrong, and really shouldn't IMHO be allowed to parse at all.

i've installed i18n and enabled the needed i18n modules. maybe i've enabled to many i18n modules at once so after that i've got a wsod. in my error log there is the same fatal error several times. i've deleted i18n and variales via ftp and cleared the cache table manually...but the wsod remains.

any ideas to fix this?

i''ve also deleted the modules from the system table without success. and for some reason the user login and the registration pages are shown but the rest isn't.
