I've been trying to create a rules component in which after a certain date has passed, rules changes the url alias on a node. Using the "Create or delete a content's URL alias" action works fine in a normal rule, but when I use it in a component it doesn't clear the old alias It adds an addition alias so that there are now two aliases to the node. I have tried doing two URL alias actions, one to clear and one to assign a new alias and that also does not clear the old alias.

I am using pathauto, 7.1.0 as well.

I can't reproduce this with the current version of Rules. If you are still having this problem, please open a new issue and EXPORT your Rule so we can see exactly what you are doing, and so we can try to reproduce the error.
