Hi,

I'm new to Rules. Is there any way to use computed fields as data to create a condition? I'm trying to create a condition with a computed field, but these fields won't appear on the data selectors. Other fields are there.

computed fields need to declare the necessary entity-metadata, see rules and entity api property info docs.

I am having the same problem. How do i declare the entity metadata? I need to use rules to check the equality of two computed fields but both these fields don't appear in the data selectors.

Though the status has been set to fixed I cannot still use the computed fields as data on conditions and rules. I am using the dev versions of Rules and Entity modules now.

This was just a support request, and it was answered, so this is fixed. This is a Computed fields issue. It needs to declare the Entity metadata, as requested. Please file an issue against Computed fields asking for this feature request.
