I created a new page and menu item under the parent "Admin Menu", the navigation for the super admin on my site. Everything in that menu that uses Root Candy has the path /admin/...

So I gave my new page the path: /admin/translation and used it as a parent menu level for all the translation and language modules since otherwise they're scattered all over the place. Problem is, the dummy landing page for that path doesn't use Root Candy, but rather the normal theme.

I thought just prepending any path with /admin/... triggered the admin theme.

What am I missing? How do get any arbitrary page to use the admin theme?

I'm also using the submenutree module to get the translation and language links to show on the dummy landing page. As an alternative I could use the menu first child module and avoid the dummy page, but haven't tried it yet.

try this module if you can't make it to work, I do believe that it should work for everything on admin/ path by default. maybe another module is interfering?

The Administration theme module allows you to use this theme on more pages like :
- batch processing pages
- devel node load and render pages
- coder code review pages
- pages you define yourself in the provided textarea
