sign commentedfixed, thanks.
You can also disable icons for top navigation in theme settings.
I can't do a lot of changes to the default drupal behaviour, as this is just a theme.
Monochrome version, might add a checkbox into the settings to disable all graphic or use different stylesheet, i'll think about it.
Any more suggestions are very welcome.

ica commentedthanks.. - obliviously this admin theme is a 'candy' as the name suggested..
the minimalist approach is something else -like the WP-fluency theme
-and it is much harder to make simple ;)
also what do you exactly mean by 'default drupal behaviour'?
-what are the default drupal behaviours? default drupal styles?
is it something thing can be done in WP but not in Drupal?

sign commentedI had to recall why i was stuck with making few things, and just found it was mainly menu system. In previous versions I wanted to make it dynamic, and it caused so many problems (like yours here), that I had to do it as it is now (custom menus and one default). Which actually fixed the problem.
Also there are some other things such as no active menu items, for example when you are on editing menu pages (menu-customize).
Thanks for bringing it up, I'll look at it again!
