In varbase-e2e 2.0.7 an impact gate covers its level and everything worse, and a full accessibility check exists. The accessibility suite still runs a critical and a serious gate on every page.

Proposed resolution

  • Bump @vardot/varbase-e2e to ^2.0.7.
  • One serious gate per page.
  • Full check on home, a news article, a podcast episode, /news, /podcasts and /search.
  • Add the structure checks (15-04).
  • Drop the required-marking check. Core marks required fields with native required only, which is not a site defect.
