Hey, I've written a patch to nodereffer module (which is currently used to back link to referening nodes for node reference fields) to integrate with revision reference.

This means that when viewing a specific revision of a node, you can see what nodes are referecing it, in the same way it does for node reference fields. The views integration still needs some work, but its worth checking out.
