I'm just reviewing different modules for a project and found both of these.

I'm slightly put off embed widgets, as it has Tabs and Color Scheme API as dependencies, neither of which I feel I need for my case.

I don't think web_widgets will be compatible with Remote blocks.

Web widgets is entirely based around embedding particular paths -- eg, to use with Views, you have to add a page display. It's a completely different system. It could also do with a better name.
