Hi,

I'm not shure of understanding all the infos about Remember_me (english is not my first language).

If I get it right, when the user closes his Firefox, the session is closed. Compared to a Drupal without Remember_me, where the session will stay open for days. Now I think I get the idea about the phantom session.

My question: what would be a «good» configuration?

How long should be the "User activity": is 10 min. ok? Or should it be changed?
And the "Session lifetime"? Is 0 sec the best choice? Or should it be set to something else? Having the «Manage phantom sessions» checked.

Thanks.

R.

Phantom sessions has been removed as the problem it was rectifying has been fixed in drupal core. The development snapshot will be rolled out in the new release momentarily.

The default settings are adequate for most installations.
When user selects remember me the default drupal session cookie lifetime is used. If you want to make this shorter or longer then you can enable the Manage cookie lifetime and change the period the session will be remembered for.
If user does not select to be remembered the session will expire if the browser is closed and the user will require to log in again.

Feel free to ask should you have any further questions.
