I can view the complete log, but if I change "Filter by message type" (to "cron" for example) and hit the Filter button, the setting changes back to "all messages". This worked fine for months. It may have started happening just after I installed Organic Groups (og.module).

A bit of probing shows that watchdog_form_overview_submit sets $_SESSION['watchdog_overview_filter'] properly, but it seems to get cleared somewhere by the time the page gets ersidplayed. If I hack the code so the default value is "cron" rather than "all messages", then I can see the cron logs but no others.

This is Drupal 4.7.6

Title: Watchdog filter broken, keeps reverting to "all messages" (related to Organic Groups?) » Watchdog filter broken, keeps reverting to "all messages" Cause is: remember_me.module

The Remember Me module is causing this (remember_me.module). If you CHECK the "Remember me" box on the login dialog, everything is OK. If you don't check it, then both the Logging filter and Upload attachment are broken. Probably lots of other stuff is broken too.

I will look into a fix for this, or at least report the bug. Drupal 4.7.6

(Sorry for pointing the finger at Organic Groups!)
