If I add a relation between two content types on my installation, and I open the Find Content / Relations page in the Admin interface, I get the following error: "EntityMalformedException: Missing bundle property on entity of type relation. in entity_extract_ids() (line 7389 of D:\Projects\Danceit\acquia-drupal7\includes\common.inc)."
I first thought the error was caused by the Relation Select module that I had installed and used to create the relation (as the same error also appeared when saving a Content Type containing a Relation Select field), but even after deleting relation table entry from db and deactivating the Relation Select module, I still get the same error when accessing the Find Content / Relations page.
I use the current Acquia drupal bundle, here the versions of the modules I used: entity (7.x-1.x-dev), CTools (7.x-1.x-dev)

ni-ka commentedWhen using the Entity Select module, this bug prevents from saving entities.

chx commentedAnd what is the Find Content / Relations page? I think we need to talk to Acquia about this. I wll reach out.

chx commentedBetter status. And this can't be critical until I know more.

ni-ka commentedHey chx,
I mean the admin UI overlay page accessed by Content -> Relations tab. The error appears after clicking on the Relations tab. How can I support you fixing this issue? Do you need more details about my installation? I could put some breakpoints and send you some variable values if you tell me what you need.
Interestingly, I can still add new relations using the relation add block.
I'd really like to use your module in my current project and in fact I already added some cool stuff I might blog about using ajax forms on a custom node page to add relations, but I need a way to review the relations ;-)
Greetings,
Nils

chx commentedThis doesnt happen with plain relation module. Moving to RS.
Edit: it is also possible that this doesnt happen any more to RS either. Did you test with the latest versions from git?
ni-ka commentedAs described, I had relation select enabled before, but deactivated it. The error still happens when relation select is not active any more.

steveoliver commentedThe latest version of Relation Select has fix for possibly related issue: #1297554: EntityMalformedException: Missing bundle property on entity of type relation, entity_extract_ids() line 7389 of common.inc.
Please see if the latest version of RS solves this issue for you.
