Is there some reason why the OG Similar Groups and the Browsing History Recommender modules are now severely broken? Did this module make some changes that were not reflected in those other modules in the Recommender ecosystem.

Please use the new release 7.x-6.x, which has lots of code re-writes, and will break sub-modules if they are not upgraded.

The good news is I'm working on the popular sub-modules right now to make them work with 7.x-6.x. See #2377503: Upgrade Recommender API helper modules to be compatible to 7.x-6.x
