I currently use the recipe module for a cooking site, and am generally very happy with (and drupal).
One bit of awkwardness I have experienced, however, is with recipes published to the front page. The recipe is truncated to show only the the directions, not the ingredient list, on the front page, which is fine. However, there is no link presented to take the viewer to the full recipe! Likewise, when browsing recipes through the taxonomy.
If the directions happen to be particularly long, then a "Read More" link is displayed, taking the viewer to the full recipe. Would it be possible to "force" this link to appear, regardless of how long the directions are?
Or am I missing something here? I've tried a few different themes, just in case it was my theme not displaying all available information, but that does not appear to be the case.
I also wondered whether this module will be updated for drupal 4.3.
Thanks!

moshe weitzman commentedThis module already works wit CVS Drupal. So if someone wants to backport to 4.3, I would appreciate it. I am the (slacking) maintainer.
Your point about a missing 'read more' link is a bug. I will figure out the proper solution.

arakune commentedThanks for the update ^_^
I am a big fan of this particular module. In fact, it's what ultimately convinced me to switch from postnuke to drupal! If it works with the current CVS, I may just go that route.
Thanks again for a wonderful contribution.

moshe weitzman commentedFixed for CVS version. Note that a SQL update is required, and a special updaterecipe.php script must be executed. That script is packaged with the module.
This version indexes ingredients so they may be searched upon.
