Recipe Teaser displays even when Trimmed posts is set to "Unlimited"

I know I posted this about a year ago, but I can't seem to find my original post nor the response to it. I'm sorry, therefore, if this has already been addressed. If you could just point me in the right direction, that would be great!

I'm trying to figure out how to get the *entire* recipe to show up on my main page, not just the "teaser".

In

Administrator >> Content >> Configure

I've set

Length of trimmed posts: Unlimited

which turns teasers off for all other nodes. However, for recipe nodes, the teaser still displays. When I came up against this last year, I ended up manually editing recipes.module in order to always display the full recipe. However, as this does seem to be a bug, and I see that the module is still under active development, I thought I would mention it again, and see if there's been a fix for this that I've missed.
