I got a message today from Google that said they would like me to use 'reCAPTCHA v2'. I fear this might mean 'V1' might be unsupported soon. You probably will want to update the module to use v2 soon.

This branch is reCAPTCHA version 2. You may use v1.

Got the same message today too. I have reCAPTCHA 7.x-1.12. How can I upgrade to 7.x-2.0? Are there any instructions?

Oh I just realized I have version 7.x-1.12 and it appears for whatever reason I have not got an upgrade notification.(I guess there are two branches).

Littlecookingtips, this is how I plane on upgrading:
What I plane on doing is downloading 7.x-2.0 off of the Drupal site and replacing the contents of disk with the contents of the archive*.(I will test it on my local test system first). Then I will run update.php to update the database.

* It is found at {drupal site}sites/all/modules/recaptcha
