I am trying to setup an RSS Feed reader so I can see when new replies come in since I cant seem to find an email notification feature anywhere. Havent figured out Thunderbird/Drupal RSS interaction yet. It is only showing new issues and not new comments.

There most certainly is an email notification system here in the project issues area of drupal.org.
