Protects nodes from accidental deletion by the editors.
Features
Admins can enable node protection by content type in the module settings. This adds a "protected" checkbox field to the enabled node type. This field can then be placed on the node form, and will only be visible to users with the "Set/Unset Node Protection" permission. When the protection is set per node, it can not be deleted from the usual admin ui.
Post-Installation
1. Configure the permissions. Who can mark node types as supported, and who can set/unset the actual "Protected" checkbox per node.
2. Add the widget for the "Protected" field on the node form.
Security Disclaimer
Please note, that this module is not security oriented, but utility oriented. It seeks to prevent node deletion by accidental human factor. If you need more serious protection, you should check something like Taxonomy Access Control.
