Problem/Motivation

PDF is not generated, only an error appears.
AssertionError: assert($items instanceof EntityReferenceFieldItemListInterface) in assert() (line 24 of modules/contrib/entity_reference_revisions/src/Plugin/Field/FieldFormatter/EntityReferenceRevisionsFormatterBase.php).

Steps to reproduce

Node built from paragraphs.
Drupal 10.6.2
PDF API 2.4.5
Printable PDF 3.1.4
Entity Reference Revisions 1.14

I'll try to debug it. The problem occurs when I update the “Entity Reference Revisions” module. The problem starts with version 1.13 (Drupal 10.6.2)

I found the root cause of problem, and it's not the issue with printable module. The issue is with display_field_copy module, and proper ticket has been created there: https://www.drupal.org/project/display_field_copy/issues/3563469

I believe it's safe to close this ticket, as it's caused by different module.

I confirm that the problem concerns the "Display Field Copy" module (https://www.drupal.org/project/display_field_copy) and causes an error when printing a page to PDF. Adding the patch from #4 solves this problem.
