Hi,
I have a webform created. I even have a print module installed for generating a pdf of that webform. However I do not want the links, select boxes, checkboxes and submit button to be visible in the webform which is generated. The pdf should be a general form through which the user can take a print out and fill in his details manually(using a pen) How do i do that? I'm using the tcpdf tool.

I don't think that Print PDF Proxy is suitable for that.
I recommend to create a special theme for print outs hiding all the elements you don't want to be part of the print out. To switch the theme for printing or creating a pdf you can use ThemeKey.

Hi,
How do I use the Themekey module to replace combo box with textboxes and remove the submit button?

The ThemeKey module can't do that for you. And AFAIK there's no module that does such a sophisticated stuff out of the box. You have to provide a theme on your own that does this job. Then ThemeKey could be leveraged to activate this theme only when a page gets printed.
See https://drupal.org/documentation/theme.
