I installed the module and sql and set admin settings and permissions, but I can't find anywhere to create postcards.

have experienced the same problem Jasonw...am using drupal 4.5.0.....

This noticed in INSTALL.txt. Point your browser to yousite/postcard - you see gallery of pictures here (of course you need setup gallery with image.module before). Don't forget to enable permissions for postcard creating.
