I have an administrators group on my website. I set the group to have privs for "administer node reminders" and "set node reminders." The reminder block on the create content page is visible to the main admin (user #1), but the admin group can't see anything. Any ideas? I haven't coded any drupal modules, but I'd like to help if anybody wants to point me in the right direction.

The permissions you list indicate you're working with the Node Reminders module, a similar but separate piece of code. You should post to their issue queue at: http://drupal.org/project/issues/node_reminder

You are correct. My apologies. This is a node reminder issue, not a post reminder.
