Yes I have read that thread was no help for me that had something to do with his logo with mine some files are gone I just need to know how to get a fresh install of the theme so it is working again.

While that thread is about a logo change that caused the errors, the errors are the same and you should read the entire thread to understand what you have to do. It looks like a directory permissions issue from my quick read.

So did I so I checked and made all the files chmod-777 but still no luck so I am assuming I need to clear something out that is holding a memory of the theme.

if you can get to administer -> performance you can clear the cache

or you can empty the cache tables manually in the DB

  1. Try what this post (http://drupal.org/node/251702) says and delete the entire sites/default/files/color folder and create a new one that you own and see if that works. There are other posts with the same errors so it would be good to fix it!
  2. If not, to 'uninstall' the pixture theme is like any other theme theme--that uses the color module. Enable another default theme, delete the pixture theme folder, delete all the sites/default/files/color/pixture-XXXX folders, clear the cache as described in #5.
