Release notes

Pixie Dark 1.0.0-beta2 is a beta maintenance release with dependency cleanup and refined hero spacing.

Changes since 1.0.0-beta1

  • Remove the mandatory Copyright Footer dependency from Pixie Dark (Issue #3620000).
  • Fix excessive spacing between the Pixie Example header and hero content (Issue #3620001).
  • Fix excessive spacing between the Twinkle header and hero content (Issue #3620002).

Compatibility and updating

The declared compatibility remains Drupal 10.3 or later, Drupal 11, and Drupal 12. Back up your site and test the update before deploying this pre-release.

composer require 'drupal/pixie_dark:1.0.0-beta2'
drush cache:rebuild

No theme configuration migration is required. Existing site content, selected variants, and block placement are preserved. If you copied the Pixie Example starterkit, review its template changes separately; updating the parent package does not replace a copied custom subtheme.
