Drupal version 5.13
Phpfreechat version 1.2

Chat is working fine in all browsers . Users report however issues with ie8 . The text overflows as shown in attached jpeg.
::sigh:: , just when I thought ie6 was a bad memory , here they go again.....

I only have this and the event module left before I can upgrade to Drupal 6 so any help with a fix for that browser problem would be very much appreciated.

Okay , I'll close this to keep the issues queue clean. The problem of course is IE8 bug . For reference I found this thread with a number of workarounds -

I am trying the htaccess fix first , but will not know till my users report back.
