Hi, Chris and Vaish. I'd be interesting in joining up as a Patterns co-maintainer. I've done a fair amount of work on a fork of 6.x-1.x, and I've been talking to @shakty about his work on the D7 port. I'm really invested in the concept of Patterns, and I would _love_ to see it get broader adoption.

Is there a most-desirable way for me to start integrating my changes? I don't want to just take over the HEAD for 6.x unless that's seen as a good thing. :) I was thinking of doing a release of the current state of dev, and then starting to push my changes. Does that seem like a good idea, or would you like to take a look at them first? I can start up a github repo if you'd like to see the current state.

For 7.x, I'll probably just create a dev branch immediately and get @shakty's version in there, incomplete as it is.

that's very good news! Congrats Michaek! I am also willing to become a co-dev for the 7.x, but until August I am probably not able to do much myself, even though there are some other people like @csko, which are still doing some work on the branch. Please keep us in the loop and we will try to make a great Pattern 7.x

Making a release for current dev and then working from there sounds good to me. As long as a release is setup, then absolutely feel free to push changes at your discretion. Reviews and modifications can always be done then. I don't want to hold things up any :)

Shakty, let me know at any point that you're interested and have the time to co-maintain as a 7.x port is definitely necessary!
