New X button for "remove" collides with adminimal css

Problem/Motivation

The new X button is not compatible with the adminimal theme css, the remove button is shown as a pale grey small square without text or icon.

My opinion about the X:

• UI of pararaphs reference looks sexier with it :-)
• UX for Drupal editor is less uniform, all other "delete" or "remove" actions are done wit a button AFAIK.

Proposed resolution

Reconsider the X to provide a homogenous editor experience.
