Problem/Motivation

By default, Pagerer renders pager links using query-string parameters (for example, page=2), which is standard Drupal core pager behavior but is not ideal for sites that want clean, search-engine-friendly (SEF) URLs for paginated listings (for example, some-view/2).

Proposed resolution

Attaching a patch against templates/pagerer-base.html.twig that computes the current path (via the Twig url() function against the current route) and builds the first/previous/page-number/next/last pager links as path segments appended to the current path, instead of using the query-string href values provided by the render array. This is a template-level change only, no PHP logic is touched.

Posting this as a feature request since it changes the default markup/behavior of the pager links -- happy to discuss whether this should be an opt-in template variant, a module setting, or documented as a sub-theme override example instead of changing the default template.

Remaining tasks

Discuss with maintainers whether this should be the default behavior or opt-in.
