The description in the module's page is rather short, so it's hard to know, but it sounds rather close to the functionality given by nodequeue and it's sub modules: nodequeue_node, smartqueue_users etc.

Maybe you can consider merging with them or contributing to them.

This isn't Nodequeue (I am a big fan of Nodequeue! :-) ) - I will post a better description once I have a working module.

Basically, this module provides a field which has a preset list of items which you can sort into order (of opt to exclude/bin/hide some of them). It has a potential use-case if you need to specify, say, up to 5 features an item might have (in order of priority).
