When trying to clone the default preset here "admin/settings/openlayers/presets/clone/default"
The "machine name" field is not editable. Preventing a user from cloning the default preset.
Cloning the default preset was achievable in openlayers v1

Indeed, cloning is more like overriding in 2.x currently. Either the terminology or functionality should change.

I would suggest changing the functionality with maybe some more clear help description for machine name. Cloning should support overriding and copying, as this is the usual behavior with clone (such as views, panels, etc).
