Show Openlayers using Form API

Hi,

Basically, I have a content type with an Openlayers map when users can click and save a position, but I would like to create a custom form with Form API and save the content in that custom Content Type, but in that custom form I also would like to show the map and then save everything with node_save(). In other words, have the same functionality of the content type, but in a custom form. Is this possible?
