Would it be possible to use data from the popular Address Field module to specify locations to be mapped? This would be a fantastic way to map data from Drupal Commerce.

@robwithhair, that is definitely possible with Geofield (http://drupal.org/project/geofield) and Geocoder (http://drupal.org/project/geocoder). Geocoder provides a widget for Geofield which allows it to geocode off of many different fields, including Addressfield.

Thanks Brandonian, I was put off geocoder as it didn't have a stable release yet. I'll have a closer look. Bit of a module jigsaw puzzle this one.
