Hi there!
Since I updated from 2.3 to 2.4 my OG nodes surprisingly show two tabs at the top... the "View" and a new "By term" tab.
Having searched the latest OG issues, the tab itself seems to make sense if OGs are related to (taxonomy?) terms somehow... but I never configured anything like that and therefor don´t need and want this tab.
How can I "switch it off" - I can´t find a config for that in the OG stuff...
(Note: I found exactly the same question in a 2008(!) thread on drupalcenter.de and the answer was "it´s already fixed with the next update...")

Jono CreditAttribution: Jono commentedThat tab links to node/%/by_subject, right? That's generated by the posts_by_term view. You can disable that view at admin/build/views.
This seems more like a support request to me ... if I'm wrong, switch this back.

you´re right... sorry for the confusion.
I already had a look at "my own" views, I set up around OG but did not find a one that made the tab appear.
But I missed the default og views because they were "hidden" at the bottom of the filter dropdown...
Only question is:
Why is that view suddenly activated after updating from 2.3 to 2.4?
I definitely never used it and I´m not aware, that I ever activated it. If(!) this issue is really related to the version update, maybe you could avoid effects like this for further ones.

That tab actually showed up on our sites a version or two ago. I'm not sure which; it might have been 2.3. (I'm not one of the OG maintainers ... just a heavy-duty user.) It took me a couple of minutes to remember that OG is nicely integrated with Views -- once I remembered that fact, it was easy to "fix".
BTW, I'm not a maintainer here ... just a heavy-duty user. Personally, I don't mind that they shipped the new view with it activated. It's helpful to me to know it's there.
The community's very good about testing releases before they go out, especially with heavily used modules like OG. Even so, I always take module updates for a test drive on a copy of my sites before putting them into production. Makes life a touch easier. (And apologies if I'm telling you something you already know.)
Cheers!
