Port NodeSymlinks to Drupal 7

Does anyone know an alternative for D7?

I've just commited initial port to D7 version. Sorry that it took so long, but there were massive changes in the Drupal API and the supported modules (Token, Pathauto) and I'm not using this module on any of my sites currently so it has been pure volunteer contribution.

The architecture doesnt change much, but as you can see from the Git statistics, the port caused changes in the 70% of the code:

7 files changed, 845 insertions(+), 955 deletions(-)
 rewrite nodesymlinks.admin.inc (66%)
 rewrite nodesymlinks.js (78%)
 rewrite nodesymlinks.module (66%)

The current status of the NodeSymlinks 7.x could be considered as ALPHA version, but I leave it as snapshot release only until I resolve the upgrade path from the D6 version.

I just get this error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_FUNCTION in sites/all/modules/nodesymlinks/nodesymlinks.inc on line 322

EDIT: It was an empty line, after deleting it, I get no error. Strange.

Are you sure it was an empty line?

The erro is caused this is due to PHP 5.2 incompatibility. I'm using an anonymous function syntax which has been introduced in PHP 5.3 at nodesymlinks.inc on line 322.

Change the line 322 to the following:

- $nodesymlinks = array_values(array_filter($nodesymlinks, function($x) {return $x['delete'] != 1; }));
+ $nodesymlinks = array_values(array_filter($nodesymlinks, create_function('$x', 'return $x[\'delete\'] != 1;')));

How can I alter the Node/Page title which NodeSymLinks generates for Symlinks? I tried template_preprocess_node() and hook_node_view() both in template.php and a separate module with higher weight. I always get the original node title.

If this module depends on a version of PHP can we add the php property to the info file to flag the required version?

@mraichelson I'm going to remove the PHP 5.3 dependencies since it could be limiting and there is only one place which needs PHP 5.3 - the custom array filter function.
