julien66 commentedHello,
As far as I know this can only happen for a couple of reason : There is problem with your service key into nodejs integration module or your backend configuration is wrong there.
There is a open issue on the nodejs integration module regarding service key => https://drupal.org/node/1917540
The message you get basically means your nodejs server can be reached and you can connect trought it but a problem in your backend configuration disabled your node server to tell Drupal he's working fine.
Please launch your node.js server with debug mode on and track the information from a console.
I'm pretty sure you'll notice some intersting message.
In any case I would firstly go for a service key problem and try to set it as blank in both config.js and and variable table (delete).

jmanny commentedHey thanks a lot julien66. After reading your advice and following https://drupal.org/node/1917540 i realized what was wrong. I didn't have to apply any patches. Thanks again.

julien66 commentedHi Menhio,
I'm happy all is going fine by now. Before closing the issue I'm very interested by knowing what was wrong in your setup.
Did you just put a blank service key as suggested ? Was it a backend configuration problem ?
=> What was the axact cause of this behavior ?
Thanks a lot.

jmanny commentedOf course. Following the issue you said, i found out that you have to add this line
$conf['nodejs_service_key'] = ' ';to the setting.php file. And as you can see i did as you said, with a blank service key. Then changed debug to true and figured out that "/nodejs/message" was not found so i changed to this "/mysite/nodejs/message". But before all that, i had change the ports on server.js to match my needs. So what do you think?Comment #5
julien66 commentedEverything is fine then.
Issue related with the main Nodejs integration module.
Cheers.
