I set the permission in this module to allow users to only create child nodes on "own" nodes. I would like to know if that limits appearance of links to nodes for which user has edit permission or for nodes to which user has access?

I have a user reference field that gives a user access to the node via user reference access module. It seems like these users will see a create child node (this is what i want), and i suspect this means filtering is by access rather than by permission.

If so, i like this feature, and want to know if the 3.x version will operate the same way?
