lelizondo commentedI think that's a good feature request, is not a bug, since this is not implemented

lelizondo commentedI've decided than Better Formats is a better choice to do this. Especially with this: #350696: Per field format settings with full BF options via CCK widget Please give it a try.

Platinum commentedI'm already using better formats and I was hoping that this module could do it so I could avoid having to use both modules. Just trying to minimize the amount of modules needed for basic form modifications. I also prefer this module as it removes the options for the admin user as well, but no worries.

lelizondo commentedWell, that's a good point. I created an independent module to do this, is based on better formats, I think there could be some incompatibilities when both modules are enabled so please disable better formats when testing this module.
After you install the module please configure each field (only text areas work) to show or hide the input format fieldset. Please report back with any detail you find.
The module is working for me and is stable, but there's no uninstall right now, so all the variables won't be removed right now. Also, remember this module will only hide the fieldset, it won't let you customize what input format you want for every field, to do that, please use better formats.
Don't forget to rename cckformsettings.txt to cckformsettings.module

Platinum commentedThanks for adding this, so far no problems. Just noticed a weird tiny thing is that by default the input format for the cck textareas are disabled, but the radio button is not selected. Doesn't really matter though. :p
Comment #8
lelizondo commentedI'll check it out.

bkelly9376 commentedThis seems to work with javascript:
I thinks it's best to be inserted from hook_form_alter so it can be conditioned to only affect desired forms or users.
