I am not too sure where the problem is. I am using nodeformpopup with the Links Package to create weblinks. It works, but nodes are created by Anonymous even though I have to authenticate before being able to submit the link.
I understand this could be a problem of the Links Package and not of nodeformpopup.

Yes. On my machine I am admin and the same happens for story. But it does not seem to happen for regular users...
