I know there is a module that is called collapsiblock but it has not really being developed, just maintained.

But I would like to see a feature that when you have a teaser that you can choose to either click into the actual page or expand the block with a clickable area on the bottom of the block and the same to collapse back to the teaser area. I think it would be an interesting feature. If this has been done already (other than collapsiblock) let me know.

This is not a feature of which I think should be a part of nodeblock. Nodeblock is about showing a node as a block. Showing a teaser and expand it into a full node is something entirely different.

I agree with @Johnny vd Laar. Besides his argument, I think that it would be relatively easy to implement your requested behaviour by writing a custom module which alters nodeblock's output.
