I'd love to see a permission to view an entire content type.

In my case, I need to block non-logged in users from viewing user profiles (via content profile) and personal ads. This seems like a cleaner way of adding that security compared to content access and everything else I've looked at.

This module only shows permissions that already exist; it does not add any of its own.

If you reckon it's possible to fit in the controls that Content Access supplies into this UI, I will gladly consider a patch.
