The current implementation to my understanding is to invite individuals to a node, by their email address. I am looking to invite members - could be all members belonging to a role - to an event. In my case, over 100 members and will grow.
It is not feasible to enter them one by one - can you add invitees by role or is their other module that can be used with this module to achieve that goal?
Thanks.

hadsie commentedYou should be using the 2.x dev version as it has proper support for authenticated users. By default it's only a user autocomplete. There's not anything that let's you just add a set of users by role either. However, the user selection field works identically to the user reference field in cck, so you can create a view to allow selection of users by role. You'd need to make a modification in order to do the auto selection of all users by role though (possibly could put something in hook_form_alter... not sure).

icymetal commentedThanks hadsie,
I'll check the dev version and see if it works better for my purpose.
There another issue - probably need to open a new ticket, where the link for the node has no RSVP buttons and the other link in the email does not have the content of the node - should be combined, IMHO, so there's the node with the RSVP buttons at the bottom.
Thanks for your quick response!

hadsie commentedI believe the issue here (in #2) can be worked around in the 2.x version by using tokens in the messages. If I'm wrong feel free to re-open this ticket.
