I have been unable to find where RSVP comments are displayed. I don't see any link under Manage Invites or My Invites.

Confirmed. I never finished porting this from the 5.x version.
I will get to it when I can.

I've added a "view" link now to the invite manage list (which also lists whether the invite has a comment or not). The "view" page will show the users comment. This is currently only available on the latest dev version though.
