Can add image node without corresponding gallery

After installing 6.x-2.0-alpha2, I noticed that a menu option for "Gallery Image (Node Gallery)" was added to the Drupal navigation menu. This menu option will add a new image node, but it is orphaned because it is not associated with any gallery. The image node is only accessible by node URL or by using the admin content list.

A link to add an image node should not be added to the navigation menu.

The add image node should have a required field linking the node to a gallery or add image node should not even be available unless called by a gallery node when adding an image.
